The ActivatePro App is the main frontend that you use to create and manage campaigns, stories and segments etc. To log in, you need an App user account that someone with administrator access created, which could be someone from your company, but also always our customer support-team.
Please note that you need a unique email address for every instance/environment, if you work in more than one, e.g. one for the live-account and one for the stage-account. In this case: please check, if you used the correct emailaddress to log in.
Different ways of logging in
There are multiple ways you can log in to Spotler ActivatePro and in this article we go through all of them:
Using your regular login
As long as your App user account was setup with a valid email address, you can simply request a new password:
If for some reason the email address is not valid, you need to contact someone that has Admin permissions to set a new password for you manually.
Through Single Sign-On/Two-Factor Authentication
If Single Sign-On/Two-factor authentication is activated for your company account, you can’t login through the regular login page anymore, it will always fail as if you used a wrong password.
For you, if SSO/2FA is active, the correct URL to log in would be:
https://app.crossengage.io/login/LIVE_{companyId}{companyId} is the placeholder for the id of the instance/environment you want to log in to. If you use a live and a stage account, you always need to change the id into the correct one for that account.
First time:
If it is the first time logging in after 2FA was activated, you will get prompted to configure your google authenticator app.
Lost/Forgotten access to authenticator app:
If you can’t access your already configured google authenticator app, we can reset your account. But this is manual work a Developer has to do, so it would be better to secure your access somehow, e.g. How to Use Google Authenticator on Windows 10
Using your Spotler ID
The third way of logging in to Spotler ActivatePro is through your Spotler ID, which is a more secure and easier to manage login experience. You log in with your Spotler ID through: https://login.spotler.cloud/
If you have set up Spotler ID for ActivatePro, the other 2 ways of logging in described above will no longer work and you can only use your Spotler ID. See the following articles for more information about the situation you might be in:
