Why is my export not working?

Question: Why is my export not working or why is my export file empty?

Answer: Your segment is too big. Segment exports via the UI is not possible when the segment is too big, which is roughly around 50k users in it (sometimes a bit more).

Solution

There are two ways to still export your segment:

  1. with a SFTP-campaign (CSV, saved on a (S)FTP-server)
  2. with the Export API (JSON or PARQUET, also saved on a (S)FTP-server)
